CHANGES FYI

Dear Member:

As always, we appreciate your patience and support, and we hope this finds you in good health. The ongoing daily changes in local, state and national business limitations due to the coronavirus have continued, and with all members cooperating, Elk City Golf & Country Club has adhered to all. THANK YOU!

Here are changes in our policies and calendar for May and beyond. Some are caused by the coronavirus restrictions, and some are yearly policies.

GOLF COURSE/PRACTICE AREA:

·         Golf Course remains open, but bathrooms are still closed, bunkers have no rakes and flagpoles are fixed.   

·         Don’t forget the two porta-pottys next to the main building. Please take as many precautions as possible. We will sanitize the door handles regularly, but cannot guarantee these are totally sanitized at the time of use.

·         Please follow instructions on all golf course signs.

·         Range Area is open (Sundays we close it early to pick up all balls for Monday morning mowing)

·         On Weekends, no sixsomes will be allowed between 10:00 and 2:00 p.m. ANY GROUP, OF ANY SIZE THAT STARTED EARLY THAN RUSH TIME, THAT IS SLOWER THAN THOSE BEHIND THEM, IF IT CANNOT KEEP PACE, WILL BE REQUIRED TO SKIP A HOLE OR TWO INSTEAD OF THE DELAY CAUSED BY ALLOWING GROUPS BEHIND TO GO THROUGH.

·         Please obey cart signs. When parked near the green, if you need space for other carts and must park outside the path, use the opposite side of the green.  We ask all members who are playing to report any group who is not adhering to our policies.

·         “Membership Has Privileges”: Saturdays & Sundays pro-shop will block tee times for members and guests from 11:30am to 2:00pm. Only when these are not taken, will we allow non-members to start on #1.

MAIN BUILDING:

·         Snack Bar area is open for take-outs and deliveries. ON BUSY DAYS, IF YOU NEED SOMETHING PREPARED DURING YOUR ROUND, PLEASE CALL AND WE WILL HAVE IT READY SO YOU DO NOT LOSE YOUR TURN ON #10.

·         Pro-Shop/Office: When open, we are limited by space for social distancing, so, please, no more than two customers at time.

TOURNAMENTS:

·         Member-Guest was moved to Saturday, June 6. Oil & Gas Golden Anniversary has been moved to August 14-15 (Friday, Saturday). All other scheduled tournaments, beginning with May 23 remain until further notice.

·         Should state restrictions be eased, Tuesday Night Men Scrambles and Thursday Couples will begin.

·         Please be aware that the above policies may need to be modified or cancelled depending on State Regulations.
