FOURTH ANNUAL DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH

The fourth annual Diamond in the Rough turned out to be a great one.

Fifty four teams of two ladies competed in five flights. Previous tournament record of 61 was broken by two with a 59 by Jamie Cameron and Laurie Makescry, narrowly beating sisters Tori and Haley, formerly Gunkel, now Windsor and Gray respectively.

David Dyson, partner at Barber-Dyson Ford, who is the "silent" title sponsor, came up with a great new idea for the tournament. He donated a great looking ice chest, then, sold chances at $20 for five tickets. Put all the money in the ice chest and, during the party, drew a ticket for all the money (over $2,300!) which was won by Markie Repp!

Final results of all flights. All ties were broken on the scorecard, no splits. Players in each flight drew for the hole number where to start the playoff.
